Hopefully, my future

I know college is few years away for me right now, but i still think about it all the time. Especially what I'm going for. My mind is constantly changing about what i want to do. But for a while now, I think I really want to go to college to become a Child or Teen Psychologist. Like i said in my other posts, I love being around kids. I would like to do this job because i like knowing what kids are thinking and i feel that they need someone to talk to other than their parents because, let's just face it, there are some things children don't want their parents to know. I'd especially like to council teens with parents that have gotten divorces or people with eating disorders. My parents have been divorced for almost 2 years this coming christmas. No one knows how it feels until you actually go through it like I did. I think it's being fake when people say i know what your going through, when they really don't. SO this is one major reason why I'd really like to take on this job. Just to know that another child is struggling like I did, and i can help them, would make me feel great.

Abortion

I am VERY against abortion. I feel that it is murder because your taking that child's life. It is proven in the Stenberg vs. Carhart case that the fetus is an actual living thing. If you were aborted before you were born, obviously you wouldn't be here today. This just shows that if the fetus was to be born it would be a talking, moving, breathing, living human being just like us and deserves to live. There are better ways of birth control than abortion or in another sense, murder.

About Me

My name is Rebecca, and I am 14 years old. I love taking pictures, to either scrapbook them or frame them. The only sport-related activities I'm involved in is basketball, volleyball, and swimming even though I'm not on any teams. I've played on a basketball team for two years, but I switched schools in between and never kept up with it. I like to make sure other people are taken care of before I am. It's one of the main things I do. What makes me to most happy is knowing others are happy. I spend a lot of my summer working as a babysitter. I love little kids. I like to see how creative kids as old as six can actually be. Babysitting allows you to become more patient.
